Five Minute Friday — Doubt to Focus

Why do I doubt the mystery of God?

When I doubt the mystery of God, I lose focus on who HE is and what HE wants me to do. This typically comes when I am comparing myself with others or looking toward the future of what I think is good for me.

There is what I want. And there is what God wants. And when I am not living in doubt and am focused, I want what HE wants.

And what he wants is good.

One of my favorite verses is Psalm 27:13–14.

I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.

Dear Reader,

Leave doubt to the side and focus on God. Wait I say wait on the Lord. Turn your doubt to focus. And he will always be faithful.
