Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded of you; and lo, I am with you always; even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28: 19–20.

In this passage, Jesus is leaving a set of Holy instructions for the disciples and other believers. These instructions are Holy because they lead us to be set apart from others. While there are many things that are required of us as Christian, he shares that the Great Commission is to make disciples, baptize them, and teach them. The Great Commission is not always easy. Evangelists are ridiculed. Christians are mocked because of their faith. You find people who are disciples in other countries that are persecuted for being Christian. Better yet, just to have a bible in your hand is a problem. Carrying out the Great Commission is not easy, but it is our purpose from God. Our purpose is not always easy, but it is Holy. It is from God. It is for his glory.

Right now I’m walking in a season of purpose. God opened a door for me and I walked into the door. Before the door opened, I noticed immediate cracks. It was almost as if God in his wisdom was sharing with me, this is here. You will be fine. You’ve been here before. I am with you.

Just like the Great Commission is hard, walking in our God-given purpose is hard. But it is necessary for his glory. God is with us. He is for us. He is not against us.

Walk in your purpose. He is with you. :)
