Five Minute Friday — Twenty

I saw the topic for FMF and thought that “ummmm twenty that is interesting.” And then, I looked on the website and saw people use twenty for many topics. Some people wrote about their twenties, or they wrote about what could happen in twenty years. And then I went away from the topic for about twenty minutes.

For me, twenty represents the year that changed my life. I went on a blind date with a handsome midshipman, who happens to now, twenty years later, be my husband.

If I did not meet my husband, I know that my life would still be good, but it would not be the fantastic life we’ve lived together. And more importantly, we would not have adopted our son.

So cheers to twenty!! :)
